One of Councilmember Krekorian’s most important transit priorities has been to connect the NoHo Metro Station with the Gold Line in Pasadena. For several years, Metro has been evaluating a bus rapid transit (BRT) line to bridge the transit gap between the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley. In 2022, that vision took a huge leap forward as environmental review was completed and the project was approved by the Metro Board of Directors. In addition to taking cars off the road, the BRT will be equipped with all-electric buses, further reducing carbon emissions.
