LOS ANGELES (June 28, 2023) - L.A. City Council President Paul Krekorian’s free outdoor concert series, NoHo Summer Nights, kicks off the season with local favorites Element Band on Saturday, July 8 at 7:00 PM.
Led by Ara Dabandjian, Element Band have won a huge L.A. following with their unique fusion of Armenian folk music with Mediterranean and Latin influences. They bring their 14-piece ensemble and a rich new repertoire to North Hollywood Park for an evening of music in the open air.
Element Band’s latest album, PYUR, will be released later this summer, but visitors to NoHo Summer Nights can hear their new sounds live on Saturday, July 8.
Element Band’s set will be preceded by a dance performance showcasing five companies: Amirian Ballet Academy, Shushan Dance Studio, Barekamutiun Dance Studio and Hayastan Dance Center.
Council President Krekorian, in association with the Valley Cultural Foundation, presents free movies and concerts in North Hollywood Park every Saturday evening in summer.
