Last weekend, Council President Krekorian and the Department of Cultural Affairs, presented Resilience and Continuity: Celebrating the Continuity of Armenian Culture and Dance, a free community celebration featuring food, music, vendors from local small businesses, and performances of traditional and contemporary Armenian dance. Dancers from Hayastan Cultural Center, Ararat Dance Studio, Amirian Ballet Academy and SIMAKEY Studio performed dances spanning the spectrum of Armenian dance -- traditional, classical and contemporary.
