Sun Commons Affordable and PSH Units

Posted on 10/17/2022

Sun Commons is a brand new 103-unit affordable housing development coming to North Hollywood!   Fifty-one of the units will be permanent supportive housing (PSH) reserved for formerly homeless households and families. PSH residents will receive on-site case management with personal service plans, life skills workshops, money management counseling, employment assistance and job preparation as well as social and recreational activities. Those units will be assigned to unhoused people through the coordinated entry system operated by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Agency.

Fifty of the apartments will be maintained as affordable housing for individuals and families with incomes between 40 and 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). The tenants for the 50 non-PSH general affordable units will be selected by lottery. If you meet the income requirements and would like to apply, applications will be accepted until October 25, 2022. Applications can be made online here or by mail addressed to Sun Commons, 6329 N. Clybourn Ave., North Hollywood CA 91606. For more information about Sun Commons, please visit AccessHousingLA.org or eahhousing.org/apartments/sun-commons, or contact:

In addition to Sun Commons, there are four more PSH projects in construction or development in Council District 2. We are on target to provide more than 500 units of permanent supportive housing by the end of 2024.
