On October 13, 2023, the White House announced $7 billion for development of America's first clean hydrogen hubs, up to $1.2 billion of which will go directly to California, thanks to the strong support of Los Angeles for green hydrogen and clean energy.
Two-and-a-half years ago, Council President Krekorian introduced a motion in Council in support of legislation then pending in Sacramento, committing the State of California to inclusion of Green Hydrogen in the state's mix of renewable and carbon-free energy resources.
